2022 Conference Funding


VASTA will be offering multiple funding opportunities for attending
the 2022 "Converging Pathways" Conference in Sonoma.

Deadlines for most are April 5th.

The Clyde Vinson Memorial scholarship is available to early career individuals and will provide folks with one year of VASTA membership, registration for the conference, up to $500 reimbursement of travel expenses to get the to conference, and a $1000 cash prize. 

 

The Conference Travel grants are available to all current VASTA members who do not reside in the US or Mexico. This award can be given to a single or multiple individuals who demonstrate need for assistance getting to the conference. 

 

EDI Travel Grants are available to US and Candidate practitioners and do not require current membership for application. An early career practitioner can apply for waiver of conference fee, one year of VASTA membership and $1000 cash prize. An additional award will be given to a graduate student who is entering the voice and speech profession: waived conference fee, one year of VASTA membership, and a $500 cash prize.

 

The High School Teacher Conference Award is a unique opportunity for secondary educators to participate in the conference. This process is usually conducted by nomination from our current membership and is geared toward educators near the conference location. Recipients will receive a waiver of conference fees and a year of VASTA membership.
