Volunteer Opportunity: Assistant Editor for The VASTA Voice

Each quarter, the VASTA Voice Newsletter is compiled by a two-person volunteer team and sent to membership. We’re looking for our next volunteer to add their skills and passion to the Newsletter team as the new assistant editor in 2022!
Volunteering for the VASTA Voice is a two-year commitment in which you serve as assistant editor in your first year, and editor in your second. Month-to-month, the time commitment is relatively low and manageable for those with full-time jobs. Expect to start the first week of February in 2022. Basic skills with software are required, but the position does not require any coding or advanced technical skills.
Great reasons to join include connecting and meeting more VASTA members, gaining editing experience, meeting a service requirement from your home institution, and helping members to develop content for the newsletter!
