IS THIS TRAINING FOR YOU… Yes, if you are:
• A Performance Professional: Actors, Directors, Musical Performers, Voice actors, Voiceover artists
• In Theatre Education: College and Secondary Educators, Advanced Students
• In Communications: Broadcasters, Presenters, Podcasters
• A Voice and Speech Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist

WHY KINESENSICS? The Lessac Kinesensic bodyvoice training emphasizes somatic awareness in body-voice training. The work encourages freedom of exploration, offering a shift from traditional master-apprentice models to more experiential learning. Facilitators act as guides who have deeply engaged with the work, supporting participants on a journey of personal exploration. This pedagogical philosophy values guided experiences over rigid instruction, allowing individuals to evolve their unique capabilities. Through Kinesensics, students are invited to explore and optimize the functioning of their human instrument, focusing on healthful, individualized growth rather than prescriptive models of excellence. The work is extremely beneficial for anyone seeking greater flexibility, range and expressiveness through their body and voice.

“To learn that the answers you need are within your grasp by listening and responding to your "teacher within" is the most empowering aspect of Kinesensic Training. By applying the simple, basic principles of Kinesensics to my life, I continually grow in all areas of my life: acting, directing, singing, teaching, facilitating, and most of all, communicating. It is the best lifelong learning course you can ever take.” Deborah Kinghorn Lessac Master Teacher, Professor Emerita University of New Hampshire
